2. Automatic Notification
Once the transfer is completed, your recipient receives an SMS from their Mobile Money operator confirming receipt of funds and the exact amount received in local currency (XAF or XOF).
You also receive a notification in the app to confirm that the transfer is complete.
3. Using the Money
Option 1: Cash Withdrawal
Visit their Mobile Money operator agency, present an ID, and withdraw the desired amount.
⚠️ Important: Withdrawal fees may be applied by the local operator (typically 1-1.5% of the amount). These fees are set by the operator and are not under our control.
Option 2: Use Directly from Mobile Money Account
Pay bills (electricity, water, internet) • Buy phone credit • Transfer to another Mobile Money account • Pay at merchants accepting Mobile Money
💡 Tip: To avoid withdrawal fees, encourage your recipient to use the money directly from their Mobile Money account.
